Academy of Excellence offers professional career training in Hair Design and Esthetic/Spa Therapy. Located in beautiful Victoria British Columbia, for more than 50 years the Academy of Excellence has been recognized for professional standards, continued prosperity and the ability to consistently produce graduates sought after by industry leaders around the world.
Hair Design
The Academy has embraced the world-renowned curriculum ‘Salon Fundamentals’ developed by Pivot Point International. Our dynamic and innovative training programs combine the traditional “tried and true” approaches with up-to-the moment techniques. We prepare students for immediate entry into an exciting and rewarding career of Hair Design.
Esthetic / Spa
The Academy of Excellence facility is designed to replicate a professional spa and salon. Students work on guests in a professional environment giving them the tools and experiences to be able to walk straight out of our training into this exciting industry.
Financing Options
The Academy of Excellence understands that making a decision to go school has to involve sound financial planning and a thorough process of investigating alternative resources that may be available.
Scholarships
The Academy of Excellence loves to open it’s door to young and energetic students with the hunger to make it in the cosmetology profession.

• Professional Development Days – 3 per year
Admission Requirements
• Applicants must be 19 years of age or have a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are required to do an Admissions Interview with the Registrar.
• International Students Only will write English Comprehension Admissions Exam 70% to pass.
