My passion for this industry has not changed in the many decades I have been involved in this great industry. I am blessed to say that my job is to share my knowledge and watch my students be inspired and excited to be entering this industry. My goal is always to create a solid foundation of knowledge and to always encourage my students to understand what they are doing and why. Originally trained at Blanche Macdonald and went on to take as many advanced courses as possible. As department head, I am always creating the highest possible standards of excellence from developing new treatments to staying on top of industry trends.

As department head Tony is amazing at being able to lead, manage and develop the hair department to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities. Tony’s gregarious and high energy nature as an instructor enables him to relate to all his students, he cherishes each and every one of them and has a strong commitment to have them be their best. Originally trained in Italy and over the many years in the industry has owned several salon’s and been very successful and now his passion is to share his knowledge and create exceptional hairstylists.

Esthetic/Spa Therapy Instructor

Being Vancouver Island born, Sherrie loves camping and exploring our beautiful island paradise. She’s always enjoyed working with people in a nurturing manner. Sherrie began her career working in healthcare for many years so the transition into aesthetics and spa therapy another holistic modality was a natural fit for her.

Sherrie had her own business working as a nail tech while working in healthcare before leaving to expand her education. She completed the Aesthetics Spa Therapy course at Advanced School of Hair Design and Aesthetics in 2004. Since then she has enjoyed all the ongoing advanced training and continuing education opportunities this career has to offer, taking full advantage of them to advance her knowledge, skills and techniques.

Sherrie has 17 years working in aesthetics. Assisting with the start up of two high-end spas, one of which won multiple local and international awards. Having years of experience as a lead aesthetician, trainer, and manager Sherrie created treatments and trained staff who became an amazing award winning team and the very top of their field. Sherrie genuinely enjoys what she does and finds her Spa and Aesthetics career very fulfilling.

Sherrie is looking forward to sharing her knowledge, skills and experience in a nurturing manner. More than anything she will be here for all students and is excited to embody a true passion for aesthetics, health, wellness, and balance in life.
